北京科技情报学会始创于1979年10月,是具有独立法人资格的北京地区科技情报工作者的学术性群众团体。北京科技情报学会现有会员单位80个,含专职情报人员约5000人,团体会员1200名,他们分别来自北京地区国务院部委、中国科学院、部队、高等院校和市属单位五大系统的情报(信息)单位,会员层次高、分布范围广、专业密集、服务能力强。会员中有高中级技术职称者占95%以上,拥有一大批具有各种专业知识的科技情报(信息)专家、学者,是一支具有相当学术水平和业务能力的
