Globalization brings both opportunities and challenges to classical learning. In recent years, classical academics have taken the positive attitude to reflect on the historical experience and significance of classical learning as a discipline, and explored the methodology of comparative research and accepted research, and turned its attention to the experience of non-Western cultures of ancient Greek and Roman classics. A series of academic activities organized by the Humboldt University in Berlin in 2015 marked a new scale and height of these developments. These activities include summer seminars and summer schools titled “The Globalization of Classical Studies,” and international conferences titled “Classical Studies in Globalization,” attracting people from Europe, North America and Asia More than 70 students and scholars participated.
