在党的十六大召开前夕,中共中央党史研究室隆重推出《中国共产党历史》第一卷,为新世纪党的第一次盛会献上了一份厚礼。2002年10月18日,中共中央党史研究室在北京举行《中国共产党历史》第一卷出版座谈会。中共中央政治局委员、全国人大常委会副委员长姜春云,全国人大常委会副委员长曹志,全国政协副主席赵南起,中央国家机关有关部门的负责同志,部分党史、国史和军史专家出席。中央党史研究室主任孙英主持座谈会并介绍了《中国共产党历史》第一卷的编修出版情况。中宣部副部长雒树刚、中组部部务委员欧阳淞、中央文献研究室常务副主任金冲及、中央党校副校长李君如、中国社会科学院副院长朱佳木、军事科学院军史部副部长萧裕声、中国中共党史学会会长龚育之先后发言。现将孙英同志的讲话和上述同志的发言刊登如下。
