The uranium continuous flow photometric monitor in carbonate solution is based on the reaction between hexavalent uranium and 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid. It has a linear relationship in the range of 0-100 ppm with a relative standard deviation of 1.1% at 60 ppm uranium and a lower limit of detection of 3.5 ppm. To analyze dissolution mining process samples to test the adaptability of the method. The observed interference is very small.
