China’s First Historical Archives and the Cross-Strait Publishing and Exchange Center jointly launched a large archive of documents, “Qing Revolutionary Compilation of 1911 Files.” This is the “Twelfth Five-Year” national key publication planning project, which is the first comprehensive and systematic publication of the Xinhai Revolution archives in Qing Dynasty. The book contains more than 5700 pieces of files, since the founding of the Central Committee of Hong Kong in 1892, ending in 1917 Zhang Xun’s restoration, covering the entire process of the Revolution of 1911. There are three characteristics of the Qing court’s 1911 revolutionary archives: First, on the opposite side, Xinhai was the archival document that the Qing government formed and preserved during the 1911 Revolution and provided a special literature support for comprehensively examining and studying the 1911 Revolution. Second, the first-hand original information, a large part of the archives for the first time published, is of great benefit to the study of the Revolution of 1911. Third, there is a great complementarity with the Qinghai Xinhai revolution archives preserved by Taipei. Both of them were introduced in the same period with more special significance.
