Shortly after the Iraqi and Afghan operations began, the Combat Corps put forward urgent needs for the rapid deployment of the Road Detection and Cleaning System (RP & G). The reason for this is that while some front bases are replenished by air, most of the bases for storing ammunition, fuel, food and large warehouses are also re-routed on-highway and off-road. In addition, the demands of local residents for road safety, reconstruction of the country and return to normal previous life have contributed to the rapid development of a world-wide system of road detection and clean-up.
