武举制度是从唐朝开始实行的选拔武艺和军事人才的制度。武举和武学的建立不仅激发了民间的习武热情,并对当今学校体育教育产生重要影响。表现在:武举制影响了学校武术教育的兴衰;社会思潮和制度影响了学校武术教育的制度、形式、内容和规模;武举武学制度对当今的学校体育发展有启示作用;尚武精神的回归是学校武术发展的重要内容。
The system of martial law was the system of selecting martial arts and military personnel that was put into effect from the Tang Dynasty.
