陈明仁上将,字子良,1903年生于湖南醴陵,祖辈为农.黄埔一期,原国民党陆军中将.曾任国民党71军军长,第一兵团司令,华中“剿总”副司令等要职.1924年底,陈明仁毕业于黄埔军校第一期.毕业后,参加国民革命军第二次东征,在惠州战役中,陈明仁以其勇誉满全军.此后,他的官衔得到晋升,1931年28岁时,既任旅长,两年后任师长.陈明仁性格倔强,居功自傲,特别是对待上级,就是在蒋介石面前,也不忍气吞声.在抗日战争中,陈明仁英勇善战,累建奇功.
