目的探讨精氨酸兴奋实验(AST)与标准馒头餐实验(SBMT)对胰岛β细胞功能的评价。方法选取118例住院的2型糖尿病患者行SBMT和AST,评价胰岛β细胞功能,评估AST的安全性、有效性及临床应用价值。结果SBMT和AST各时间点血糖水平差异有统计学意义(P<0.001),但AST各时间点血糖水平均低于SBMT(P<0.001)。AST胰岛素曲线下面积、胰岛素均值、峰值与SBMT胰岛素曲线下面积呈正相关性。结论对2型糖尿病患者胰岛β细胞功能方面的评价两者具有一致性,且AST具有血糖波动小、简单易行、安全性更好的特点。
Objective To investigate the effects of arginine excitatory test (AST) and standard steamed bread test (SBMT) on the function of islet β cells. Methods A total of 118 inpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were enrolled in this study. SBMT and AST were evaluated in order to evaluate the function of pancreatic islet β cells and evaluate the safety, efficacy and clinical value of AST. Results The blood glucose levels of SBMT and AST at different time points were significantly different (P <0.001), but the blood glucose levels of SBT were lower than SBMT at all time points (P <0.001). AST area under the curve of insulin, insulin mean, peak and SBMT insulin area under the curve was positively correlated. Conclusion The assessment of pancreatic β-cell function in patients with type 2 diabetes is consistent, and AST has the characteristics of small fluctuations in blood sugar, simple, safe and better.
