史学家常说以史为鉴可以知兴替,我国的外语教学虽始于晚清时期,才140多年的历史,但在此期间我国的外语教学从无到有发生了翻天覆地的变化,其中清末民国时期对外语教学的探索与摸索对我国的外语教学产生了深远的影响。以清末民国时期的外语教学史为鉴虽然说不上能够知兴替,但对我国大学外语专业教学改革还是会有很多有益的启示。本文主要探讨清末民国时期官办学校外语教学的教学理念、课程设置等方面的成就与不足,同时将其与我国现阶段大学外语专业教学中出现的问题进行比较,以期得出对我国大学外语专业教学改革的启示。
Historians often say that we can learn from the history for reference. Although our foreign language teaching started in the late Qing Dynasty only 140 years ago, the foreign language teaching in our country changed greatly from scratch.
