In recent years, with the state’s emphasis on traditional culture represented by non-material cultural heritage (hereinafter referred to as “non-heritage”), as well as the support of relevant policies and funds, “non-legacy” has been steadily heating up. However, the industry has different opinions on how to protect the traditional culture represented by “non-legacy”: some experts and scholars believe that “non-legacy” protection can simply inherit its artistry without the need of Innovation, otherwise it may lead to its “gene mutation ”; Some people think that change and innovation is “non-legacy ” and traditional culture to inherit and enter the life motivation, otherwise it is stagnant water. As for Liu Jia-lai, a researcher and design scholar at the China Academy of Art, it is not a bad thing that controversy arises as to how to protect the traditional skills. This shows that everyone attaches great importance to it and is trying to find a solution from a different perspective.
