6月17日,中国共产主义青年团第十七次全国代表大会在北京人民大会堂开幕。习近平、李克强、张德江、俞正声、王岐山、张高丽等党和国家领导人到会祝贺,刘云山代表党中央致词。大会通过了中国共产主义青年团第十七次全国代表大会关于团十六届中央委员会报告的决议。大会认为,党的奋斗目标、当代青年的历史使命,决定了共青团的光荣责任。大会同意报告关于中国青年运动的时代主题是为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦而奋斗的论述。大会同意报告对今后五年共青团工作的部署。共青团要坚持用社会主义核心价值体系引导青年,要在全面建成小康社会进程中充分发挥生力军作用,要竭诚帮助青年成长发展。
On June 17, the 17th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Youth League opened at Beijing’s Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli and other leaders of the party and state arrived here to congratulate Liu Yunshan on behalf of the party Central Committee. The General Assembly adopted the resolution of the 17th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Youth League regarding the report of the Central Committee of the 16th Central Committee. The congress held that the party’s goal of struggle and the historic mission of the contemporary youth have determined the glorious responsibility of the Communist Youth League. The congress agreed with the report that the theme of the times of the Chinese youth movement is to struggle for the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The assembly agreed to report on the deployment of the CYL work in the next five years. The CYL must insist on using the socialist core value system to guide young people and give full play to its role as a new force in building a well-off society in an all-round way. We should wholeheartedly help young people to grow and develop.
