应邀前来参加海峡两岸汉字学术交流会,得以和大陆与台湾的著名文字学者结识并聆听大家发表对于祖国的文字历史发展的卓越见解,用会见和会议的丰硕成果来推动祖国文化事业的进步,甚至也在政治的领域发挥影响,亦即对祖国的统一事业贡献力量,这在我们每个与会者都是很感到荣幸的事情。请允许我对发起这个会议并为之付出许多辛劳的袁晓园先生表示敬意,向各位与会的先生、朋友们表示敬意!
He was invited to participate in the academic exchange conference for Chinese characters across the Taiwan Strait and to get acquainted with famous literary scholars from Mainland China and Taiwan and listen to their outstanding opinions on the historical development of the motherland. With the fruitful results of the meetings and conferences, he promoted the progress of cultural undertakings in the motherland, Even exerting influence in the realm of politics, that is, contributing to the unification of the motherland, is a great honor for all of our participants. Please allow me to pay tribute to Mr. Yuan Xiaoyuan who initiated this meeting and gave a lot of hard work to pay tribute to all the gentlemen and friends who attended the meeting.
