希腊国家考古博物馆,位于希腊首都雅典,是希腊最大的博物馆,也是希腊所有博物馆中馆藏最丰富的一个博物馆。它始建于1866年,于1889年完工,距今已有一百多年的历史。博物馆分为两层展示馆,共有50间展示室,收藏希腊各地出土的、各个时期价值极高的文物,全面集中地展示古希腊文化。博物馆馆藏文物约有2万件,其中最著名的是阿加曼农黄金面具,它是迈锡尼时代的国王阿加曼农的陪葬品,根据其面貌而打造的黄金面具,精美绝伦。
The Greek National Archaeological Museum, located in the Greek capital Athens, is the largest museum in Greece and one of the most extensively preserved in all of Greece’s museums. It was built in 1866, completed in 1889, dating back more than a hundred years of history. The museum is divided into two-story exhibition hall, a total of 50 showrooms, collections of all over the Greek unearthed in various periods of high value of artifacts, a comprehensive focus on displaying ancient Greek culture. The museum has about 20,000 artifacts, most notably the Agamemnon Gold Mask, a burial product of King Agamannon of Mycenaean era. The golden mask according to its appearance is exquisite.
