In this study, the human cytomegalovirus AD169 strain was inoculated with 103TCID50 in New Zealand rabbits, animal death within 5 ~ 20d 33.33%. The pathological examination of suspicious organs of dead animals found that the lungs of early-dead animals were extensively filled with serous exudates. Later, the alveolar wall of the lungs of thickened animals were thickened, dust cells were increased, and exudative lesions of varying degrees were excreted. The liver and kidney The presence of focal, degenerative and necrotic lesions detected by human cytomegalovirus antigen localization detected HCMV-specific antigens in the damaged tissue cells as described above, indicating severe damage to the lung, liver, and kidney caused by human cytomegalovirus-infected rabbits, as well as animal death Very close relationship
