今年是邓小平同志诞辰100周年和百色起义75周年。通过缅怀邓小平同志的丰功伟绩,弘扬百色起义的革命精神,高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜,努力开创广西发展新局面,这是我们在纪念活动中应坚持的基本宗旨。邓小平同志的一生是光辉的一生。他经历丰富,功勋卓著。无论是在革命年代还是在社会主义建设时期,无论是在建党建军方面还是在新中国的政权建设和社会主义现代化建设方面,他都作出了不朽的贡献。在改革开放的新的历史时期,邓小平同志创造性地继承和发展了毛泽东思想,开创了中国特色社会主义道路,创立了当代中国的马克思主义——邓小平理论。
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s birth and the 75th anniversary of the Baise Uprising. By cherishing the great achievements of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, carrying forward the revolutionary spirit of the Baise Uprising, holding high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and working hard to create a new situation in Guangxi, we should uphold the basic purposes that we should uphold in our commemoration activities. Life of Comrade Deng Xiaoping is a glorious life. He has experienced rich feats. He has made immortal contributions both in the period of revolution and in the period of building socialism, both in building and building the military and in building the political power and socialist modernization in the People’s Republic of China. In the new historical period of reform and opening up, Comrade Deng Xiaoping creatively inherited and developed Mao Zedong Thought, started the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and founded Marxism in contemporary China - Deng Xiaoping Theory.
