Computers can greatly increase labor productivity and are widely used in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning designs abroad. At the international seminars in Washington (1970) and Paris (1974) attended by representatives of five continents, in many articles published in major professional magazines, in the proceedings of major professional associations such as ASHRAE, APEC, and COSLCC. It is emphasized that foreign countries pay special attention to the issue of designing computers. The countries that dominate these problems are the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
