逆变点焊机输出的是一个脉动很小的连续的直流电,这种电流波形具有加热过程连续、平稳和集束效应等特点,这些特点对于多层板的焊接都是有利的,在多层板焊接时,焊接电流、电极压力和通电时间三个主要焊接参数要合理匹配才能形成一个良好的接头,同时次级回路内的铁磁性物质应该不会影响其电流值。本文采用对比试验的方法对两种焊机的适应性进行了比较研究,与交流点焊机相比较,逆变焊机由于次级输出几乎不受次级回路内铁磁性物质的影响,因此特别适合于大探伸构件的电焊。
