近代日本知识学人的“满蒙鲜观”是在日本帝国殖民扩张主义意识支配下,其“学术研究”与帝国政治相结合的产物,本质是为日本将东北地区由中国分裂出去的政治野心提供学理支撑.通过考察日本考古学家、人类学家鸟居龙藏的学术经历和研究结论,可以看出他对中国的认知带有帝国殖民性色彩.鸟居龙藏在中国和朝鲜开展了大量调查活动,以考古文物调查、田野调查、人类学调查为依据,提出“满蒙同源相亲”“满鲜不可分”.他以“满洲”为支点,将“满蒙鲜”三地相连,构建其对内的一致性,该理论与学术主张在一定程度上充当了近代日本对外侵略扩张的理论工具.
