影响汽缸套寿命的因素之一是材质的耐磨性,长春汽车研究所与北京汽车修理公司五厂协作,进行了硼铸铁汽缸套的研制。考核试验表明,硼铸铁汽缸套的耐磨性好,配用镀铬活塞环后,平均最大磨损量7.8微米/万公里,行程可达30万公里;对镀铬活塞环有明显的减磨作用,使活塞环的寿命提高近1倍;在使用过程中,未发生碎裂现象,实物强度大于HT20~40。且原材料立足国内,生产工艺简便,目前已投入生产。
