洽谈会成港岛焦点洽谈会的召开,在香港工商界引起轰动,社会各界反映热烈。自洽谈会开幕前10天始,香港文汇报、大公报、商报、成报、东方时报、星岛时报、南华早报等陆续刊登了洽谈会招商信息、广告,介绍各市县的投资环境及经济发展状况,广东招商成为岛港热点。 8月1日,香港会议展览中心举行了’96广东对外经贸介绍会,各国驻港商务官员及香港的工商、金融、新闻界等共250多人到会,香港主要报纸对介绍会的情况作了较详实的报导。
