Professor Zengquan Zeng, Professor of Endology at the University of Houston and Honorary Professor at Northwestern University in the United States, visited Tongji University on September 11th and September 11th, 91, to give lectures on “Unified Theory of Reinforced Concrete Structures” for teachers and students at the School of Structural Engineering of our university. The significance of researching the unified theory and the new progress of the research are systematically expounded, which cause great interest to students and students listening. The computational theory of reinforced concrete structures should apply to the main areas of buildings (beams, columns, etc.) and should also be used for local areas (columns).
