Ancient Greek drama into China lasted more than two thousand years. Ancient Greek drama was introduced into China through silk trade routes, alien kabuki, foreign religions, adaptation, theater translation and performances by foreign theater companies in China. With the development of the interaction between China and the West, the form of the introduction of Greek drama into China is also changing: from the initial performance of kabuki’s miscellaneous performances to being absorbed as part of Chinese opera, and finally to the presentation and direct presentation of the paper; Greek drama Incoming traffic is also on the rise: from a small influx of handicrafts to the introduction of religion, to the subsequent mass translation of plays and the constant presence of foreign troupes in China. The introduction of Greek drama into China not only reflects the historical appearance of the exchange between Chinese and Western cultures, but also reflects Huaxia’s historical strong position and its fine tradition of incorporation and enrichment.
